Where is Lunar Fusion Yoga located?

Lunar Fusion Yoga is at 6054 Perth Street in Richmond, Ontario, on the second floor above Hair Expectations. Richmond is about 25 minutes south-west of downtown Ottawa.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

No. The studio is on the second floor and is reached by a flight of stairs with no lift, so it is not accessible to wheelchair users or to anyone who cannot manage stairs. Please contact us before booking if you would like to talk through whether the space will work for you.

I have never done yoga before. Is that a problem?

No. Classes at Lunar Fusion are small and all levels are genuinely welcome, including complete beginners. Restorative and gentle classes involve no advanced postures, and the instructor offers modifications throughout. You do not need to be flexible or fit to start.

What should I bring to a class?

Bring comfortable clothing you can move in and a water bottle. Mats, bolsters, blankets and props are provided at the studio, so you do not need your own equipment. Yoga is practised barefoot, so no special footwear is needed.

How much do classes cost?

Regular classes are booked using class credits, and workshops are priced individually. Current pricing is listed at lunarfusion.ca/pricing.php. New students receive their first class free.

Is there parking?

Yes. There is street parking on Perth Street and nearby side streets in Richmond village, and it is free. Arriving five to ten minutes early gives you time to park and settle in.

What is restorative yoga?

Restorative yoga is a slow, passive practice in which the body is fully supported by bolsters, blankets and blocks, and postures are held for several minutes at a time. It is not a workout. It is intended to calm the nervous system and is well suited to people who are tired, stressed, recovering, or new to yoga.

What is somatic breathwork?

Somatic breathwork is a guided breathing practice used to support emotional release, nervous-system regulation and deep rest. It can be intense, and it is not suitable for everyone. Lunar Fusion asks participants to review a breathwork disclaimer beforehand, and people who are pregnant or who have epilepsy, cardiovascular conditions, or certain mental health conditions should speak to us before booking.

Can I cancel a class?

Yes. Regular classes can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the start time and your credit is returned automatically. Workshops are fully refundable up to 7 days before the date. Full details are at lunarfusion.ca/cancellations.php.

How large are the classes?

Classes are deliberately small, typically capped at around ten to twelve people, so the instructor can offer individual attention and hands-on adjustments.

Do you offer private or group bookings?

Yes. The studio can be booked for private sessions, workshops, team days and celebrations. Contact info@lunarfusion.ca to discuss dates and numbers.

Are you looking for instructors?

Yes. Lunar Fusion is built to host more than one practitioner, including teachers of yoga, movement, breathwork, sound and meditation. Instructors are paid per class and the studio handles booking, payments and reminders. Contact info@lunarfusion.ca to introduce yourself.
