Privacy Policy.

Lunar Fusion Yoga ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our students and website visitors. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canada's privacy laws, including PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation).

1. Information we collect

When you create an account or book a class, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Date of birth (to verify age eligibility for classes)
• Health and wellness information provided voluntarily through intake forms
• Emergency contact details (for minors and breathwork participants)
• A signed waiver and your IP address at the time of signing
• Class booking history and credit transactions

We do not collect payment card information directly. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• Manage your account and class bookings
• Send transactional messages (booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations)
• Send marketing messages, only with your explicit consent
• Maintain safety records including signed waivers
• Comply with our legal and insurance obligations

3. Marketing messages (CASL)

We only send marketing emails or text messages if you have given explicit consent during registration. You may withdraw consent at any time by updating your preferences in your account settings or by contacting us at info@lunarfusion.ca. Withdrawing consent does not affect transactional messages related to your bookings.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Twilio — for SMS notifications (phone number only)
• Legal or regulatory authorities, if required by law

5. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Signed waivers are retained for a minimum of seven years for insurance and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; note that waiver records may need to be retained regardless.

6. Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• Request deletion of your account (subject to legal retention requirements)

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioural tracking. We do not currently use Google Analytics or similar services.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our systems. No system is completely secure; if you have concerns, please contact us.

9. Children and minors

Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian to complete a consent waiver before participating. We collect parent or guardian contact information for safety purposes only. Participants under 12 are not permitted to register.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
